About SynerImages Healthcare Consulting

SynerImages Healthcare Consulting, LLC was founded in 1996 to give healthcare operators a single firm that could handle licensure, regulatory compliance and payer contracting without handing them off between specialists. We are based in Seabrook, Texas, and most of our work is with Texas providers, though enrollment and contracting engagements regularly cross state lines.

What makes our perspective different

Consulting firms in this space usually grow out of one discipline — a former surveyor, a former biller, a former clinician. Ours grew out of the payer side. Our founder helped build one of the first managed care clinical model facilities in Texas, served as Director of Provider Contracting for a national medical management company, and ran a Houston HMO before advising providers.

That matters most in contracting and in compliance disputes, where the question is rarely what the rule says and almost always how the entity enforcing it will read your documentation.

Leadership

Beverly Sepúlveda, RN, BSN, MBA — Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Beverly founded SynerImages in 1996. She began her career as a licensed emergency room and intensive care nurse, practicing for five years before earning her MBA and moving into managed care, where she ran one of the first managed care clinical model facilities in Texas. She was a founding member of NAMM, a national medical management company, serving as its Director of Provider Contracting, and later served as chief executive of a Houston-area HMO. She leads the firm’s licensure, compliance and payer contracting engagements.

Alfredo Sepúlveda-Jiménez, PhD — Chief Financial, Technology and AI Officer

Alfredo has served healthcare IT for over twenty years as a software architect, researcher, speaker and implementer of electronic health records and healthcare business systems, following a twenty-two-year career as a geophysicist in the energy industry. He has held adjunct mathematics faculty appointments at Lone Star College, the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Texas at San Antonio, and publishes in journals spanning healthcare finance and informatics, probability and statistics, analytics and virtual reality. He is founder and chief executive of QDR Labs, an AI, VR and analytics development firm, and authors the MyTherapyRehab news blog for the Texas outpatient rehabilitation and home health therapy industries.

Adrian Rodrigue, MA, BCBA, LBA — Vice President of Operations and ABA Specialist

Adrian is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst who has worked with children on the autism spectrum since 2007, with particular depth in clinic-based early intervention. Her consulting work centers on staff training, curriculum and policy development, and teaching play and social skills to early learners. She writes on behavior analysis from a parenting perspective through The Behavior Momma and develops professional content through Thrive Educational Services, LLC.
